The Tenured TD Mentorship program serves as a resource to college and university technical directors who are standing for promotion and/or tenure at their own institution. The project can put candidate's in touch with mentors in their own region of the country to provide guidance and insight, can provide lists of potential external reviewers for tenure cases, and can review materials being submitted for content, format, and articulation issues. This is a very informal assistance program, but individuals who have participated in the past have greatly appreciated the help. No technical director should climb that precarious tenure ladder alone.
